Superfish is an adware virus installed by Lenovo on millions of computers. In a nutshell Lenovo sold tons of computers installed with the Lenovo virus. The Superfish adware bug is installed to show heavy graphics with Google search ads. However, this bug can install itself as a signed root kit which can be exploited by people in a local network to steal user credentials like secure credit card info and more.
